True belief in Christ begins with receiving Him, but it’s revealed in our daily choices—choosing faith over feelings and letting our actions reflect the trust we’ve placed in the One who calls us His own.
What is belief? A choice? We choose to trust in God? Faith. Faith and believing go hand in hand. How do you trust someone whom you haven’t received? I’m not sure that you can. Receiving Jesus means hearing him. To those who hear Him, he has given the right to become a child of God. How marvelous! We only have to open our eyes, open our eyes, and believe! What a gift!
But as many as received HIm, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
John 1:12
Choosing to trust in what we know. How hard this can be some days. My flesh wants one thing and because of what I know to be true in the word of God. I choose actions that exhibit this belief in my Father. I have chosen. I believe. My life, my actions need to exhibit this choice. The world should see my Father through me.

Prayer
Father, may the world always see you through the things I do and say. May I always remember that I have a choice in my actions and that I do not have to react to situations? May I be so full of your spirit Father that it bubbles out and points those around me back to you.
